TELLING THE TRUTH

 

A boy had been given an essay to write for school but he decided to get some help. So  he went to his mother and asked: “Mum, how was I born?”

“Oh!”, she replied. “The stork just  flew past and dropped you down our chimney.”

He then went and asked his grand-mother. “Granny, how was my Mummy born?”

The Granny also said, “The stork just flew past and dropped you down the chimney.”

Then the boy asked his Grand-Mother: “And, Granny, how were you born?

“The stork just flew past and dropped me down the chimney.”

So the boy began his writing his essay with these words: ‘THERE HAS NOT BEEN A NATURAL BIRTH IN OUR FAMILY FOR THREE GENERATIONS….’

Sometimes we don’t help others by our unwillingness to tell the truth…

 

GROWING UP!

“GROWING UP!”

For a child, every birthday is a milestone. It means something new, something exciting to explore. Now their able to do something else – something brand new that they have never had the opportunity of doing before. Children are so very desperate to grow up!

This like desire to “grow up”, I believe should be in every Christian on planet earth. A desire and a hunger to learn to do brand new things, to reach new milestones, and to do more for GOD.

Jesus Christ Himself said: “We should all become like little children in order to enter into the kingdom of heaven!”
